I was contacted through Flickr for permission to use one of my photos in an article. I was so excited. The message I received didn't say what photo but did mention it was something about junk food which I really didn't pay attention to. I'm thinking it must be the pictures of the castles I've seen or the pretty grounds at Punta Cana or something neat like that.
I follow the link... it's a picture of the Freedom Fries I took in France. The photo I took right before Grandma's wallet was lost/stolen and our Paris trip went to hell.
The article is "French obesity report calls for junk food tax." It looks like the entire site allows anyone to just post anything to it so it's not as neat as I originally thought but, eh. It's kind of cool to see my photo right there.

and how the hell have you never heard of absinthe????
Huh. It's a strange site anyway. Did you let them use your pic?
Contrary to popular belief I really am not a drunken sot. Is it really so hard to believe there's an alcohol I'm not aware of?
Nathsns an artist, he'll only let the major media outlets use his stuff.....for comission
I'm just hoping that it'll up my odds of running into kate beckinsale, since she drank it straight in van helsing (although it was probably prop absinth) just in case i'm bringing armor all in case her leather needs a quick shine.
Fantastic
